We used to take ours off to relieve strain on tiller control lines and prevent banging from side to side. Carried it in sta. wagon to avaid contact with gel in cockpit if we carried it there.

Subject: [Rhodes22-list] Rudder position
Hello
What is the recommended position of the rudder when trailering? When I bought mine it was in the up position but there would be less strain with it in the down position. Any suggestions for expensive VHF radio?
Thanks,
Rod Ellner
