BigAl,

Herb is correct in his assertion that the list is not just for sailing info,
but we have all been through the discussion of the charter before and why da
list is what it is.

If you are trying to conserve storage space, a problem solely the concern of
John Locke, our host, just hit delete and do not reply to the political
posts, thereby saving precious bytes that will be allocated to your reply
and those that will reply to you and so forth.

Oh, and if you are using Outlook Express or another Windows mail client, you
will need to empty your delete folder and compact all folders periodically
to conserve space on your PC. You should also run DiskCleanup regularly to
reorganize PC temporary file space.

If file space is a real problem, just go to www.newegg.com and pickup a 1TB
external (USB interfaced) hard drive for $129.99 including shipping
(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822101121) and you
will probably never need to worry about storage space again. That should be
enough storage to archive every byte that we exchange plus all of the
digital photos you will ever take. 1TB, that's 1,000 GB or a million MB for
those of you who are challenged by really large numbers. In the "folksy"
words of Sarah Palin, "It's one heck-of-a-lot of hard drive."
