George McGovern has never been a favorite politician of mine, but, I
read the book about his daughter's struggle and eventual death from
alcoholism a few years ago and gained new respect for the man and his
efforts.  I've always been aware of his service during WW2 as a bomber
pilot, and I respect him for that, and now, the man has won even more
well deserved respect.
