[Rhodes22-list] West Marine

Wow.  WM contends that they will match competitors prices.  I would like to
go test them on that one, just for the principle of it.

Do they franchise their stores?  The only business still not up and running
in Slidell (a boat-heavy place) is West Marine.  Everyone in town has had to
replace thousands of dollars of parts, fenders, lifejackets, and
electronics.  They're missing out on a fortune (and I need to find a way to
make a fortune doing something cool).

If memory serves the 1/2" diameter ones 4' long are less than $2. If West
Marine sticks to  the  mark up % I have claculated in the past, they would
be around $20 each.

I got a trickle charger at Northern Tool for $5, the same one at WM $49.99.
