Did you mean "after that", or "until then"?

All of mine were great until their teens. All of them became somewhat of 
a challenge in their teens, some more than others, but now their all in 
the 20's (one about to hit 30), and they're all great again. Even more 
fun than before, because there's not nearly as much of the 
"responsibility" for them as there used to be.

Grandkids though - THOSE are fun. All of the fun, almost none of the 
responsibility. As a matter of fact, in some respects, you get to start 
getting back at your kids.

Yes sweety, you can have another cookie before you eat, but only one 
more, you've already had five. And don't tell mommie you had cookies for 
breakfast or that we stayed up watching Kung Fu Panda until 2 in the 
morning last night.
