[Rhodes22-list] Obama's Magic

All the sense of practicality has been lost. Save the environment edict has
gotten us the rough we're in now w/ energy. The affordable housing strategy
to extend home owenership to everyone failed. Someone should cut the fingers
of the democratic leaders as they just point and point and they don't take
leadership. They can't even unite their own party for the good of the
country. They advertise a $700B bailout where its more like $850B with all
that pork! They bought votes yet again in our faces. Obama will seek to get
support from people who are in the rough and I think he will get it given
our times. Obama's strategy is using gov as a tool to help people, that's
his philosophy. I can't agree w/ this. I can't even agree w/ McCain's
homeowner bail out proposal which I think will only reinforce bad behaviour
again and people will not learn.

Wrt Obama's personal convictions I find him unpredictable. There is lots of
evil in the world and I
don't know how he will protect us from evil. I think he wants to shake hands
with them. We just memorialized 9/11. I don't see from him the vehement
emotion one would feel when attacked. I'm glad we built the new homeland
defense. I'm glad that fed gov is more vigilante in potential attacks. Which
candidate would scare the living daylights of the terrorists who is even
contemplating attacking us. Is it Obama?
