Uhuh Ben, they're not the same thing.

All Obama had to do was note the man's name. And he didn't just serve on 
boards (yes, multiple boards) with him, he launched his campaign from 
the guy's house. Ayers made no secret about his past.

You're trying to paint McCain with the same brush, and it's not. Obama 
worked with a KNOWN terrorist, who was proud of his past. If the 
allegations you're talking about are true, that means McCain worked with 
a guy that was a swindler and may, or may not, have known about it.

Your comparison would have been much more appropriate had it been to 
Obma's relationship with Rezko, though the ties between him and Obama 
are much tighter.
