Elle:

The oil that you referred to, "spray 'storage oil" is referred to as fogging
oil.  Why the rush to winterize the motor.  Going to the Islands for the
winter.  

As for the other stuff, I always take my motor off to do.  Maybe you should
rent a trailer from Stan until spring?  I suspect it is time to get some
experience in retrieving and derigging a R22.  See if you can follow Slim's
checklist.  

Carol in Colorado can do it all herself so it can be done by lady sailor. 
When you get the boat out of the water have hose and brush to wash bottom,
centerboard and centerboard well.  Maybe it is time for a coat of bottom
paint?
