Brad;

I think everything is going to be OK. Really. If McCain wins you and I are
going to pay afew dollars less in Federal Income taxes and Big John will be
paralyzed by a hostile Congress. He will be stymied from making real
progress in peace in the middle east and we will live with a "status quo"
(you and I) for at least four more years.

If Senator Obama wins everything is still going to be OK. You and I will pay
afew dollars more in Federal income taxes but our lives and lifestyles won't
change a bit. I believe a President Obama would work quickly to redeploy
our troops from Iraq which has an 80 billion dollar surplus and can take
care of itself, or not, so that we can destroy our real enemies in
Afghanistan (Al Qaeda and the Taliban) the people who hurt us on 9/11. He
will foster a closer relationship with reformers in Pakistan, and bring the
Iranians to the table on all the issues we have with them. They used to be
our friends (the Iranians) and most of them would like to be again, if we
just give them a chance. If it doesn't work out we can always "Bomb. bomb,
bomb.....bomb, bomb Iran" later, as your friend McCain says.

If Senator Obama wins he will appoint Federal Judges who understand that
their role is not to "role over" to every "hair brained scheme" the
executive comes up with to improve our security at the expense of our
freedom. They will reassert their role as the guardians of the limits of
executive power and the tyranny of the majority. They will protect habeas
corpus, and individual liberties and not allow abuse of government power in
the name of "national security".

If Senator Obama wins we will finally get universal healthcare, or damned
close. Our failures in this area are a disgrace.

The Palestinians may see this man Obama as their first real chance to form a
lasting deal with the Israeli government providing for the two-state
solution to the endless conflict there.

Brad, best of all, if Obama wins you will one day turn to me and say, "You
know Ben, I was wrong about this guy. I'm sure glad I didn't move to China."
Why, you might even say, "Ben, this could be the beginning of a beautiful
friendship."

Relax my friend, if it doesn't work out, there's another election in four
years.

Best wishes,

Ben Cittadino

PS- Did you steal my yard sign?
