[Rhodes22-list] How much time do you spend on the computer?

Dear Mr. Wager,

While the posting on political topics is currently excessive, we can still
use it as a sailing forum. When it gets to be too much I just wander off and
do other things like work, hang out with my family, try to raise my kids the
right way, sail, stinkpot around or whatever. When I come back, it is
entirely voluntary.

This forum may not be perfect, but it is our forum. So three guys can
somehow post a lot. So what? Any and all of us can buzz off whenever we
want.

Now, on another note we have brave citizens of all stripes posting,
reasoning, venting, ranting, proclaiming themselves to be God (Brad,
really!), it is like a bar at 5 minututes to midnight sometimes. A sailor's
bar, of course. Some of the stuff that gets posted, you just cannot make up,
it is so far out.

Personally, if the posts piss me off, I delete or ignore or take a break.
They are almost always informative, so I think a lively, even chaotic forum
covering any topic at all with a lot of sailing know-how available from list
members is preferable to some of the other ones that are just dead boring.

So this was a longish way of telling you to go haul your boat or something.

respectfully
