[Rhodes22-list] Topic change... to Elle

I'm poking, but I also AM looking for an explanation.
We're supposedly living in an enlightened age, one in which there is
supposedly no shame in being attracted to members of the same sex. In
the enlightened age, it would seem that if flirting is OK, then there
should be no more negative connotation assigned to flirting within the
same gender than without.
Ironic that I personally wouldn't be offended were someone to make the
claim that a guy was "flirting" with me. I think practicing
homosexuality is an abomination, but no one can help what or who they're
attracted to.
