[Rhodes22-list] Ike Pushes into Quebec (political humor, I suppose)

Mike,
Just got off the phone with a FEMA prime contractor that still had us
in their roledex. We initially considered mobilizing to Texas when
common sense took hold and we had second thoughts. Now I get this call
and we're reconsidering so I'm staring at the forms they just faxed.
Are we a small business? YES. Are we a woman owned business? Yes, if
you consider that nothing gets done unless my wife approves it. Are
we a "Small Disadvantaged Business"? Well DUH! HUB Zone? Yes, but we
haven't gone through the three years of red tape to be certified.
Veteran Owned? Veteran of what? Getting screwed by the 'gubment'?
Service Disabled Veteran Owned? Yada, Yada, Yada.
I can get divorced in 90 days. Does anyone know of a half
American-Indian, half African-American, one-legged Army veteran who is
poor that I can marry quickly?
Anyone who thinks more federal government is the answer to their
problem deserves to be shot! No, on second thought, scratch that
idea. That would require more time and paperwork than it's worth.
They'll die of natural causes before the feds can get the job done.
