Greg,
IMHO I have found that the use of epoxy resin works better than polyester
for your purposes. The adhesion to the plywood will be far superior and
shelf life of the resin is much longer with the epoxy. If you Google "Don
Casey Tip # 29" he'll give you his opinion.
