I hope you don't take Alan's response as a negative. I'm glad he knows 
how to use the list thusly. I, on the other hand, found your personal 
message interesting, and hope you continue to post similar type posts.

In light of the fact that we went a day or so with no posts other than 
those type, you are helping keep the list alive. Please do continue.
