Herb,

Thank you for the reassurance.  It was getting a little hot in here.  I wondered if I had said something to get people upset.  Elle is fiesty, but anyone who has lost a friend, lover, and breadwinner gets my support.

In truth, I have no Rhodes, so maybe I have no right to say anything on this list.  But I have already learned things from listening, and would like to be able to ask questions.  

The one time I was out on a Rhodes 22, it was such a new experience!  I was confused about what was going on.  The other people in the boat all knew what to do and when to do it.  All I could do was stay out of the way.  No time to ask questions.

Hope its OK if I hang around and soak up some "know-how".

I hope you don't take Alan's response as a negative. I'm glad he
knows 
how to use the list thusly. I, on the other hand, found your personal 
message interesting, and hope you continue to post similar type posts.

In light of the fact that we went a day or so with no posts other than 
those type, you are helping keep the list alive. Please do continue.
