One thing you can do, it you have the transom mounted mast support for the
bow crane, is get a mast stub from Stan.  The stub can be used to raise the
pop top while "trailer camping"

I mounted a wood plate on top of my stub and drilled holes for the pop top
slider pin and mast step bolt.  Using the plate to lash the stub to the mast
as the stub sits on the mast step, you will have good support for the raised
pop top.
