[Rhodes22-list] Flag placement?

My boat came from Stan with a nice little pulley set-up on the starboard
spreader, but I have been hesitant to fly the US ensign from there because
it is really not "proper". The US ensign goes on the stern staff, or back
stays as folks have noted. I did see a nice "Mt Gay Rum" burgee once and
thought it would be cool to fly that on the spreader (I don't belong to a
yacht club). I did think of Rummy when I saw it but since it was in Jersey
on a power boat I figured it couldn't be him. Do we have an R-22 Fleet
burgee I could fly? Anybody have a suggestion for my use of the pulley on
the spreader (other than to hang pirates)??
