[Rhodes22-list] Hull color

Rummy,
My understanding (but I don't remember the source of the information) 
is that painted hulls should not be waxed. I know Awlgrip makes its 
own polish and recommends that you use nothing but their own cleaner 
and polish. I believe the paint Stan was using back in 1998 was 
similar to Imron. Fretless's white hull looks nearly as good as the 
day she was painted 12 years ago. Not quite as shiny but nearly so. 
We have never waxed it. The paint was sprayed in GB's spray booth 
over the original medium blue gelcoat. You can see the original color 
in the pictures of our cockpit which was not painted. Here's one. You 
can see the original color was very similar to the color of our 
cockpit cushions.
