I'll second what Rummy says about the Boom Room and filler cushions because my wife and I just returned from a short trip to Hilton Head by boat which was not a good idea because it was 113 miles round trip and 90% of it motoring in the ICW. Could have gone offshore of course but it was too rough and we are too chicken so we went the hard way. It reminded me why I trailer the boat instead of motoring endlessly. Still, we had fantastic weather and it was much better than being at work! Hilton Head was very nice as usual and I attached a pic from Harbor Town where we stayed. Next day we motored back all the way south to Sunbury which took about 11 hours with about 2 of those hours spent sailing.

But, two things I want to point out that make the accomodations so nice: (1) Boom Room (see pic) is the best and I also have the cockpit filler cushions. I use an inflatable mattress and the wife and I have separate bedrooms (only on the boat...) She sleeps in the double berth and I am on the double mattress on the filler cushions, and (2) this was the first trip with the new refrigerator - what a nice improvement! I also attached pics of the Indel Marine fridge and freezer which works so well. We loaded it with food and kept some frozen chicken in the freezer for a couple days and it was so nice to not have to recharge the icebox with more ice every day. There is already enough to do while cruising on an R-22 and I thought refilling the ice box and cooler every day was a real PITA. But no more because the fridge is great and it does not drain the batteries much at all.

Just wanted to share that and the pictures with the list. Going on a week long cruise next month to Punta Gorda hopefully.
