[Rhodes22-list] Salt Water Question

I'm sorry if this seems like one of those "dumb" questions.  I have never had
a boat on salt water.  What do you do differently on salt water to keep your
boats healthy that us fresh water blokes don't need to do?  I've always
seemed to have a fear of salt water eating my boat hardware away, but the
places I would like to explore someday are in salt water.

Any help for this saline hydrophobe?
