Is this the "sailcare" you used?

How often should the sails be cleaned?  My sails are going into their third season, the main stays stowed in the mast as the rigging is in place through the winter and the genoa gets stowed in my basement during the off season.  I assume it is not good to clean the sails every season as this would remove water repellant?  I plan to have the sails cleaned and inspected after the third season.

How are the sails packaged to send to sailcare?  I assume there are probably some pretty qualified sail lofts in the Annapolis MD area that would eliminate the need to ship?

I had my R22 sails done by Sailcare two years ago and replaced the window
and sunbrella on the genoa and patch two small holes on the main.  Think it
ran about $800 and that was with their winter discount they offer every
fall.  Send them your sails by Dec 15th and they give you a 10 or 15%
discount.  They do a good job and will examine your sails for any necessary
repairs, but took about a month longer than estimated.
