Hey Mary Lou,

Be careful with disparaging remarks about herons.

I have a Windex that came with a spike extending up from the pivot.  No bird
dare approach and I think Winkex is one of the easiest to see.  Also,
colored yarn with frayed ends tied to the upper stays and VHF antennae
indicate both direction and speed of the wind.
