[Rhodes22-list] Rudder Questions

I am considering rebuilding the rudder to my 1980 Rhodes.  Attached  
are a few photos.  We bought the boat less than a year ago from a  
gentleman in NC who had her for only a year himself, so I don't know  
much of her history.
My questions are:
1.  Does this look like a factory original?
2.  Does a factory rudder have a fiberglass skin on the inside of the  
two side panel?
3.  I am considering replacing the outer panels with Mahogany marine  
grade plywood. Would I need this fiberglass surface?
4.  Does anyone recognize this rudder?
