The bracket under the seat keeps a 6 gallon gas tank in place by fitting into the groove on the bottom of the tank.  The wood piece looks like an extra support for the bench/berth when you have the table insert in place.

Getting ready to splash the new boat this week.  After the motor rebuild I have to replace both batteries (ouch!).  I've got a couple of items I don't recognize.  Anyone tell me what the wooden piece is for and what the bracket (?) under the seat is for?  Thanks - rob
