[Rhodes22-list] Yet another cockpit drain question…..Plus, transducer placement

I would say yes, the cockpit drain is below the waterline. I always see  water in the drain even though the level is below cockpit sole.
That brings up another question: I am thinking of installing my new depth-finder transducer just aft of the cockpit drain, with the wire
traveling through the drain.  What do the old wise Rhodies think?
