I wholeheartedly second what Chris has advised in his post.
You need to replace those pop rivets with bolts and nylocks.
Reality check: this job takes at least 6-8hrs as you are working all on your
knees
in a cramped space with little access to the rear fasteners. I used small
mirrors
and rubber gloves to save my hands but its a tough job in any weather.
Neoprene gasket material is very affordable online at McMaster-Carr
And after consulting the list, last yr was my first year I didnt bother with
sealant except around the fastener holes. Made the assembly job go much
easier and less messy! No leaks from my CB gasket!
