Jay,
Instead of a 5 gallon bucket for engine flushing, have you tried "ear muffs" (what I call them anyway).  A bit easier to use that a bucket.  I keep a pair on the boat and you can use them with the motor still mounted. You can buy them a Kmart or any store that sells basic boating supplies. - rob

I also built a fold up engine stand that I can travel with and use for running the engine over a five gallon bucket.
