Here you go. Note that the straps around the upper and lower bars that hold
the double 5/16" blocks are galvanized pipe hangers used along with the
line you see as temporary parts of the installation while it is being used
and verified to work well. The line is wrapped so that it exits the bottom
from an inside roller and outward from the stern. In this way it comes up
between the blocks and does not hang up on anything. The final
installation, which I will do this winter, will have stainless straps to
hang the blocks, a good 5/16" inch marine line and a eye prior to the jam
cleat for a stop knot to keep the line from falling loose. The blocks were
expensive, but they had to be the best since they are permanent and fully
exposed to the water.So far it has worked like a charm.

You will also note a small black PVC pipe attached to the upper bar to the
right of the upper blocks. The pipe and clamp are parts of an underground
watering system sold at Home Depot and very cheap. This prevents the engine
mount from tilting inward toward the stern so that the engine can be tilted
on its own pivot once it is raised. This was necessary because the forward
part of the engine, the fuel line and the throttle handle hit the stern
when tilted out of the water on the engine mount pivot. If you keep the
engine mount stationary and just tilt the engine, everything clears.
