Sure thing Graham. I will post pics and keep everyone updated. I welcome lots of advice but am a brave (if not foolish) do it yourselfer.
I once rebuild the stringers in a similar boat and bedded the pressure treated pine stringers in polyurethane construction adhesive. (Moisture cure stuff from home depot)
I sailed the boat hard for years, had it fill up with water once for a month. When i sold it i got down in there to inspect and the job looked brand new and the adhesive was still perfectly holding the stringers to the hull.
I would say epoxy would be a much better choice and a few layers of fiberglass cloth and resin even better.
