[Rhodes22-list] Water in the cockpit when motoring

I have never had water come up through the drain regardless of the load in
the cockpit. Might that be because older boats were lighter?

My idea would be to use a one way value so water can escape the cockpit but
not enter. Easy to make but they can be purchased on line.
