It’s not a jam cleat. Maybe I described incorrectly. It’s mounted on the aft side of the rudder head and looks like one-half of a cam cleat on one side and just a clear space adjacent to allow the line to drop. Haven’t found a source yet and don’t know if it has a special name.

The boat is in the water and I can’t quite tell for sure what the problem is but I would like to get a replacement before I dive in (literally) to inspect repair. I had to do this several years ago but can it remember the proper name of the part or specs. Can anyone help with this or provide a source?
