Hello Patricia, 
Kentucky Lake, KY lake, is 50 miles by 2+ miles in the western 
Kentucky area. It was formed by the TVA project that dammed 
the Tennessee River which flows NORTH, by the way and folks 
here were paid $30 an acre by "eniment domain" to move off their 
land in the 50's and 60's. I work with these folks who hold menial 
positions and work 2 jobs. they are not just thrilled by this whole thing 
yet!!
THEY REMEMBER!
However, there are coves to lie in for 50 miles without housing and only 
the deer and heron to greet you in the am while you enjoy coffee in the 
morning from your boat!
It is the diamond in the rough to be honest!
I will happily keep the secret.
