[Rhodes22-list] Politics on the list.

here's your dilemma peter, assuming you ment vc17, will not work for drysail(the copper oxidizes), only fresh water and you would
have to sand blast with walnut shells to prep, EPA will hate you for that. Second dilemma, if the list was to become a replacement
for people to use as a "boating" manual, with the expirations that people will save them the time to research the answer as an
unpaid lackey. Some people do view a list that way, give me my information and that's it. On the other hand, No one would bother to
show up, people who know the answers would get little out of it.. Manuals are boring and work is work.. Much prefer the model
answering question while socializing with each other. Kind of like hang out at a bar, even rummy know something about that :-)

As west says:
Thin Film Paints with Teflon
Teflon additive drastically cuts surface friction and the thin film, with its aggressive solvents, dries quickly, so multiple coats
can be applied in the same day. It provides a hard, smooth surface with excellent durability, can be burnished to create an
extremely low-friction hull surface and there?s no thick buildup to remove when recoating. On the down side, they are incompatible
with most other finishes, require frequent recoating because they are thin and gradually lose effectiveness out of water.

MJM

BTW peter I was trying to pick on you, insult or get in a heated debate, just happened you were the "staking horse" for that side
of the issue.
