Speaking of semaphore flags, here's some trivia that may not be true.
 
Did you know that the peace symbol came from British Commie Hippie protestors against nuclear weapons?  It came from the semaphore signs for the letters "N" and "D" for nuclear disarmament.
 
I've been playing golf my entire life and just heard this one last week.  The word originated as an acronym for Gentleman Only Ladies Forbidden.  True?

No, we use Semaphore flags....altho' weather can make
comm difficult..;^)

BTW...little to no cell phone service...though we are
getting a tower w/a repeter so we can get  some radio
stations other than the local ones...
But...the view....
