Peter, Glad to help. I saw Roger's post and remembered the folding pics were his. He is a wealth of knowledge. The enclosure and boom room are technically aftermarket accessories and as such the snaps are installed individually, so alignment is not assured. In my case, a few snaps had to be added/relocated on the cabin and companionway. The sleeve that wraps Round the mast did not fit well which led me to believe that it was originally made for a non IMF mast. Don't hesitate to call on The List for help. That's what it's for!Best regards,Joe DempseySent via the Samsung Galaxy S22 5G, an AT&T 5G smartphone

I don't have the boom room and didn't run the pop top enclosure over the boom. I think I was just a little gun shy about pulling on the fabric. I'll experiment with different sequences for snapping it on until I find one that fits me (pun intended). Thanks for the folding instructions. Roger originally posted those and I used them after I decided to "ask the list before I do something I regret".Cheers,Peter On Sunday, May 28, 2023, 01:30:24 PM EDT, Joe Dempsey <jpd9668 at gmail.com> wrote: #yiv4738350558 P {margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0;}Peter,First, the Poptop enclosure does not go above the boom like the Boom Room does. Ensure that the snaps on the enclosure properly align with those on the cabin trunk. I begin by snapping the forward edges to the cabin trunk and wrapping the mast. Follow that with snapping the sides then the cockpit snaps and companionway. It's pretty simple. If you have the boom room, begin by placing the bows across the boom and get a couple of snaps on either side snapped to balance the "bundle". Then line up the velcro hook tape from the forward edge of the boom room to the corresponding velcro  on the enclosure.  Here some pics from my former R22, "Respite" as well as a great PTE folding plan that someone had posted on The List.  Hope this helps.Joe DempseyTrojan 42M/V VoyagerEx-Rhodes 22S/V RespiteDeltaville, VAFrom: Rhodes22-list <rhodes22-list-bounces at rhodes22.org> on behalf of Peter via Rhodes22-list <rhodes22-list at rhodes22.org>Sent: Saturday, May 27, 2023 10:38 PMTo: rhodes22-list at rhodes22.org <rhodes22-list at rhodes22.org>Subject: [Rhodes22-list] Pop top enclosue Does anyone have any tricks or advise regarding the installation of the pop top enclosure?  Mine doesn't go on easily and I don't want to force it.Thanks    Peter
