[Rhodes22-list] Mast step issues?

The compression post on the R22 is not directly under the mast - but it’s close enough to do the job because the cabin top is made of thick plywood. 
From y experience wit h da list, the bottom of the compression post is susceptible to rot. 
Check the bottom of your post.
